Hello! I am Amanda! From the time I could turn on the oven, I fell in love with baking. I loved the nostalgia, I loved the aroma, I loved sharing the love! I baked at every chance I got. It all started with the classic chocolate chip cookie…and it never ended! My dad’s office was never shy of sweet treats : )

It was only natural that I went to culinary school for pastry arts. I spent my formative pastry years learning under some of the best of Washington DC--Roberto Donna, Michel Richard and Eric Ziebold, where I was a James Beard Award Finalist for Outstanding Pastry Chef. Then on to NYC to work for locavore chef Marc Meyer. Returning home to Washington DC, I helped to open the culinary projects of chef Spike Gjerde at The Line Hotel. It was standing on the shoulders of all these giants that have made me the pastry chef I am today! I am forever grateful!

A weekend on the Eastern Shore was all it took to fall in love. A move was made and a baking company was born…let’s see how the rest of the story goes!
